Nydia's Rez Day Party [Dec. 13th, 2012|04:31 pm]

A rez day party for my friend Nydia, who used to be my club manager, was held at Club Zero Gravity after my show at Club Cutlass yesterday. I didn't think to take any snaps, but Nydia took some video, which she says I can post.

I'm marking this entry friends only with a warning that the atmosphere at Zero Gravity is rather relaxed. So you may see some naughty bits here and there.

I'm not going to make any apologies on behalf of the fandom for this. We're furs, we know we're beautiful, and we like to show it off on occasions. Besides, it's not like the human avatars don't enjoy throwing off their clothes in public just as much.

This is just a byproduct of a world where everyone is beautiful and dances divinely. Self-consciousness fills no practical function in SL. So, if you’re not a fur or on SL, just think of this as a glimpse of a different world or alternate dimension where the customs are a bit different.

Yep, one great party thanks to the "Hunny Bunny." :)

Before I was asked to manage the place, there'd be a lot of nude parties. Now, not so many, as I'm also the Editor of SL Newser. Though on occasion Nydia or other ladies will request one. "Porn on a pole" behavior however is not welcome, as regulars like to bring friends over, some not too familiar with, relaxed atmospheres. It's something of a balancing act.

But the occasoinal furball going "au naturel" is just one small part of Second Life's space station and it's "party among the stars." Designed by Ranchan Wiedman, it is one fine looking space station.
